Gary Izzo has spent his life making creativity real—and ridiculously fun. A former Disney Show Director and the author of The Art of Play, Gary helped pioneer interactive theatre long before it was cool. He was one of the original minds behind Walt Disney World’s use of live actors in immersive experiences, and he’s brought worlds like Star Trek to life at Paramount Parks.
These days, he’s the Creative Director of the Sterling Renaissance Festival, where he runs a living, breathing Elizabethan village packed with improv, Shakespeare, and surprise. His creativity workshops have helped everyone from artists to executives shake off their limits and tap into something new.
